A. General
1) Co-plan and co-teach lessons with the Foreign Class Teacher and other relevant colleagues.
2) Lead and co-teach on assigned lessons weekly, ensuring quality delivery.
3) Bring Chinese culture and heritage into the classroom through teaching and classroom provisions.
4) Assist in the implementation of HLL events, focusing on bilingualism, Chinese heritage, traditions and cultures.
5) Set up and maintain high-quality provision areas to enhance the learning environment.
6) Plan, guide, and actively participate in outdoor learning experiences to maximize engagement.
7) Maintain effective and regular communication with parents about student progress and classroom activities.
8) Report any parental concerns to the Line Manager promptly.
9) Provide support for students’ educational, social, and emotional development under the with the Foreign Class Teacher.
10) Act as a role model, fostering high expectations among pupils, colleagues, and parents.
11) Attend additional school activities such as school productions, parent evenings, trips, and house events.

B. Curriculum Matters
1) To be familiar with the Little Lions Curriculum.
2) Provide support to children in learning on an individual, class or small group basis in order to deliver a differentiated learning programme.
3) To assist with the implementation of Individual Education Programmes for pupils and help to monitor their progress.
4) Share or contribute in reporting progress to parents as well as assisting the Foreign Class Teacher in writing fornd of term reports.
C. Welfare and Discipline Matters
1) To ensure the safety and security of the children at all times and to bring to the attention of the senior staff any matters concerning the wellbeing of the children.
2) To provide the necessary support and pastoral care for pupils inside and outside the classroom.
D. Extra-Curricular Activities
1) Take part actively in the outdoor learning CCA programme, providing suitable activities and good interactive opportunities.
E. Personal Development
1) Participate in the annual Professional Performance Review.
2) Participate in School-wide Inset initiatives.
3) Seek INSET opportunities that may arise from the Appraisal process, including pathways to higher qualifications.
4) Seek advice from line managers with regard to professional development and career paths.
5) Take full responsibility for areas that may be reviewed in a full School audit.
F. Collegiality
1) Attend meetings designed to share information necessary for the smooth running of the School and the successful delivery of its programmes.
2) Supervise students during non-period time as determined by the duty rota.
3) Supervise classes on behalf of colleagues as determined by the cover schedule.
4) Behave at all times in a manner befitting a role model for the students of the School and in a manner that brings only respect to colleagues and the reputation of HLLNN in line with teacher standards and those of HLLNN.
5) To support colleagues as necessary and to work co-operatively as part of a team attending all meetings and INSET.
