Job Responsibilities
1. Determine quoted costs, develop Project Budgets, and monitor project
spending
2. Gather, tabulate, review, audit and analyse project cost data
3. Investigate variances between Project Budgets and Actual Costs
4. Forecast projected project spending
5. Prepare detailed reports, both periodically and ad-hoc
6. Use Project Cost Analysis to help management make important decisions
based on costs and benefits
7. Suggest cost-reducing or profitable solutions
8. Conduct audits on project procurement processes and tran Esactions
9. Monitor changes in processes or methods to calculate effects on overall
costs
10. Estimate product costs for existing and new products
11. Forecast and analyse costs of processes, labour and inventory
12. When necessary, offer analytical support for departmental projects.
13. Collaborate with the Finance Department to contribute to developing
yearly operation plans and budgets
Job Qualifications
1. At least 3 to 5 years of proven experience as a Project Cost Analyst, Cost Specialist or similar role in the equipment manufacturing industry
2. Working experience in data, operational, technical and financial analysis and reporting
3. Excellent analytical skills & business acumen, with great attention to detail, and creative thinking
4. Excellent communication and presentation aptitude,able to communicate effectively upwards and downwards
5. Initiative and enthusiasm
6. Ability to succeed in a stressful and deadline-oriented environment
7. Degree in Engineering, Business, Finance,Management, Accounting, or relevant fields
8. Working knowledge of ERP software and MS Office (with a focus on Microsoft Excel)
9. Excellent spoken and written communication skills in Chinese
10. Fluent spoken and written communication skills in English
Preferred
1. Good understanding of accounting processes and principles
2. Knowledge of the agricultural and food industries
3. Knowledge of bulk handling equipment
4. Degree with major in business or management
