The Account Director will be responsible for the brand development across Asia, and drive profitable business growth through building up sustainable clients’ relationships.
Lead one of account team and work closely with other functions or Paris team to ensure the efficient and creative project delivery.
Develop team’s account management and project execution expertise to build strong talent pipeline.
Key Responsibilities
Develop account strategies for annual and strategic plan, set up targets (revenue, margin, cost, etc) and optimize resources (manpower, 3rd parties, etc) allocation
· Provide holistic evaluation of historical projects/performance and estimation of future trends as solid foundation for development of strategy and roadmap
· Embrace and utilise data/insight to ensure we make stronger decisions for our clients, ensuring their affinity with ideation and implementation at every opportunity
· Ensure accurate regular reports are generated on time (commercial, operation, business)
· Develop business development strategies and resource allocation plans
Explore business opportunity and develop new clients to achieve targets
· Identify potential business targets by building network across Asia
· Maintain and strengthen existing contacts’ relationship
· Activate necessary tools for business development (agency presentation…)
Leverage and optimize all internal and external resources to gain new business
· Transfer clients’ needs into workable plan and debriefs to internal teams
· Collaborate with new business team to workout pitch proposal, including concept, budget, activities, design, etc.
· Deliver pitch presentation if necessary
· Negotiate with procurement/purchasing from client’s side properly to secure target profit
Deliver activities/projects with high quality and drive for clients’ satisfaction
· Liaise with project managers on resource allocation to maximize execution effectiveness
· Monitor projects’ on-going status and guide the execution
· Control the overall budget within plan
Build functional expertise and develop team for account and project management capability, ensure sustainable talent pipeline
· Set comprehensive set of targets for the team align with business targets
· Provide leadership/functional skill-set development to the team through day to day on-job coaching
· Build a collaborative working climate to optimize working efficiency
· Share account/event/project management knowledge and share “Best Practices”
Requirements
Bachelor or Master Degree
10-12 years event relevant working experiences, at least 4 years as people manager
Good command of English (verbal and written)
Strong analytical skills and strategic/logical thinking
Strong client management, selling, negotiation and budget management skill
Ability to work under pressure and result driven
Good event operation experience, strong team management and leadership
Good interpersonal skills and a positive attitude
Good at presentation
