主要職責(zé):
1. 教學(xué)工作Teaching and Learning
教授學(xué)生研究技能以及定位打印或網(wǎng)絡(luò)資源,尤其是使用圖書館目錄和資源; Teach students research skills and how to locate print and online sources, in particular how to use the library catalogue and resources.
負(fù)責(zé)教授學(xué)生辨別信息的可靠性和真實(shí)性,并組織研究發(fā)現(xiàn); Teach students how to identify whether the information obtained is reliable and how to organize their research findings.
協(xié)助學(xué)生使用眾多的資源和技術(shù); Help students use a range of resources and technologies
2. 課程分配工作Curriculum Delivery
作為圖書館主管,積極參加部門領(lǐng)導(dǎo)會(huì)議和議程; Serve as Head of Department for Library and participate in Head of Department meetings and agendas.
積極配合主題單元的規(guī)劃和授課,并協(xié)助任課教師整合信息; Cooperatively plan and teach units of work with subject and classroom teachers incorporating information skills and knowledge.
積極配合任課教師收集各領(lǐng)域信息; Support teachers with resources across all curriculum areas
積極配合任課教師,參與重要活動(dòng),如圖書周; Collaborate with teaching staff on special events – such as Book Week
3. 學(xué)生積極性Motivation of Students
與英語和中文教師合作,激發(fā)學(xué)生對(duì)于閱讀的興趣,并幫助他們找到適合年齡和自身閱讀技巧的書籍; Along with English and Mandarin teachers be responsible for inspiring students to start reading and helping them to find books that are age and skill appropriate and of interest to them
建立維護(hù)圖書館日常程序,維持圖書館的良好秩序; Set and ensure library routines are established and maintained to ensure good order in the library
負(fù)責(zé)圖書館活動(dòng)和主題的運(yùn)行事宜,重點(diǎn)強(qiáng)調(diào)圖書和素養(yǎng); Run events, from time to time, to focus on books and literacy.
4. 專業(yè)領(lǐng)導(dǎo)力Professional Leadership
積極參與當(dāng)?shù)睾蛧?guó)際性的專業(yè)化網(wǎng)絡(luò)工作; Actively participate in professional networks locally and internationally
收集和分析關(guān)于圖書使用的數(shù)據(jù),并使用這些數(shù)據(jù)來進(jìn)行之后的訂購(gòu); Gather and analyse data regarding book use and using this to focus future purchases.
5.員工激勵(lì) Motivating Staff
協(xié)調(diào)圖書館員工的日常工作;Coordinate roles and daily tasks of library staff.
負(fù)責(zé)圖書館員工的考評(píng)工作;Responsible for appraisal of library staff
為圖書館員工提供專業(yè)發(fā)展機(jī)會(huì);Seek out Professional Development opportunities for library staff.
在圖書館使用方面,為教學(xué)人員提供專業(yè)化發(fā)展;Facilitate professional development for teaching staff in library use.
6.關(guān)系管理 Relationship Management
展現(xiàn)有效的個(gè)人技巧和溝通技巧;Demonstrate effective interpersonal and communication skills
促進(jìn)圖書館在包玉剛實(shí)驗(yàn)學(xué)校社區(qū)的影響力;Promote library amongst the YK Pao School community
確保圖書館營(yíng)造一種學(xué)生和家長(zhǎng)都想要參觀的、以學(xué)習(xí)為中心的環(huán)境;Ensure the library is a welcoming learner-centered environment that students and parents want to visit.
7. 行政職責(zé)Administrative Function
開發(fā)和管理圖書館預(yù)案;Develop and administer library budget
管理發(fā)行的ICT設(shè)備;Manage the issuing of video camera peripherals
制定丟失或損壞書籍的相關(guān)賠償政策。與包玉剛實(shí)驗(yàn)學(xué)校社區(qū)共享信息;Set policy for compensation for lost or damaged books. Share with YK Pao School community.
8. 學(xué)校非課堂生活安排Contribution to Non-classroom Life of the School
參與學(xué)校和社區(qū)的項(xiàng)目;Take part in school and community events
負(fù)責(zé)圖書館相關(guān)事項(xiàng)。Take the lead on library events.
要求:
1.本科或以上學(xué)歷,圖書館檔案、教育學(xué)或其他相關(guān)專業(yè);
2.國(guó)際學(xué)校圖書館工作經(jīng)驗(yàn)者優(yōu)先考慮;
3.持高中教師資格證;
4.能夠使用英語進(jìn)行課堂教學(xué);
5.具備開放的思維模式,勇于探索創(chuàng)新精神,樂于接受新理念新事物,有較強(qiáng)的團(tuán)隊(duì)合作意識(shí);關(guān)愛學(xué)生,盡心盡責(zé);
6.可能須住校。
有意向的申請(qǐng)人將被要求填寫一份包含詳細(xì)教育和專業(yè)背景信息的申請(qǐng)表,經(jīng)過安全招聘培訓(xùn)的面試官將參加面試。申請(qǐng)人將接受嚴(yán)格的背景調(diào)查,不接受非特定性的推薦或者證明信函。入職前要求提供由政府機(jī)構(gòu)或警方出具的無犯罪記錄的報(bào)告。所有工作人員每年均需接受安全制度培訓(xùn),包括鑒別、反饋和報(bào)告程序。

YK Pao School is a pioneering international Chinese school. The school is a non-profit private institution founded in 2007, in memory of shipping magnate Sir Yue-Kong Pao, the renowned Chinese businessman, statesman and philanthropist. With over 1200 students from China and overseas, the school offers a unique Year 1-12 educational programme that integrates elements of Shanghai and international curricula, culminating with the IGCSE and IB Diploma programmes, both of which are complemented by core components of the Shanghai curriculum.
Pao School’s innovative Chinese-English immersion bilingual programme nurtures the whole person - the entire emotional, social, physical, and intellectual being – and prepares students to become engaged and responsible global citizens of the 21st century.
Pao School is divided into Primary, Middle and High School. Primary School (Years 1-5) is a day school located in Shanghai’s city centre, while the Middle School (Years 6-8) and the High School (Years 9-12) are located on the new Hongqiao campus and in Shanghai’s Songjiang District offering UK/US style boarding education as well as catering to day students.
