崗位職責(zé): 1.Primarily to support and with guidance from Regulatory Compliance CMB and GBM HBCN to fulfill risk steward’s responsibility, maintain an effective control framework and ensure compliance with relevant external laws & regulations, internal policies and good market practices relating to Regulatory Compliance. 2.Support the team to consolidate and produce management information and reports for review, follow up with relevant stakeholders on a timely basis. 3.Assist the team to prepare meeting packs/ training PPT, coordinate administration support and etc. as required. Impact on the Business 1.To ensure an effective and enough resource to support HBCN Regulatory Compliance CMB And GBM to proactively identifying Regulatory Compliance risk change and potential impacts, development and continuous review for appropriateness of control framework to monitor Regulatory Compliance risks developments impacting HBCN. Customer / Stakeholders 1.Reporting to the Regulatory Compliance CMB And GBM team HBCN as relevant on Regulatory Compliance risks matters. 2.Liaise with relevant stakeholders within Compliance teams in HBCN to provide support on Compliance related matters. Leadership and Teamwork 1.Offer proactive assistance to the team to develop a world class and market leading Compliance Function for HBCN. 2.Maintain and develop positive, collaborative and professional working relationships with other business managers and Compliance colleagues at the Group level and those in other Regions and Businesses. Operational Effectiveness and Control 1.Contribute in support for the creation of a framework for the effective risk-based monitoring of the implementation of Regulatory Compliance risks related policies and controls. 2.Support to agree and oversee the implementation, embedding and monitoring of the adherence to the Compliance FIM. Management of Risk 1.This will be achieved by supporting Regulatory Compliance CMB and GBM HBCN to ensure all actions take account of the likelihood of Regulatory Compliance risk occurring and by addressing any areas of concern in conjunction with line management and/or the appropriate department. Observation of Internal Controls 1.The Manager, Compliance HBCN supports Regulatory Compliance CMB and GBM HBCN for setting the ‘tone at the top’ which underpins the principles of a positive and effective internal control environment. They should exhibit leadership and direction to their teams for establishing and maintaining an effective internal control environment, including the development and management of policies and procedures where appropriate.
