Engineer (Electrical / Mechanical), Rolling Stock & Depot Engineering (Bus Depot)
You will work with a team of engineers
focusing on the engineering aspects of Rolling Stock and depot equipment. The
projects you will be working on include rail depot equipment (automatic train
wash plant, automatic storage retrieval system, underfloor wheel-lathe, etc.)
and bus depot equipment (automatic bus wash system, paint booth, lubrication
& waste oil recovery system, vehicle testing and lifting equipment, etc.)
You will have the opportunities to work on developing technical specifications,
reviewing design submissions from contractors and exploring new engineering
initiatives to improve reliability, operation and maintenance of the rail and
bus depot equipment. You will also need to work closely with cross functional
teams from different disciplines within LTA, as well as with Rail/Bus Operators
and contractors to provide support to project teams at various stages.
Bachelor’s
degree in Electrical, Electronic or Mechanical Engineering. Knowledge of data analytics is a plus.
Keen interest in depot systems and eagerness to learn the engineering design
of trains, bus and depot equipment.
Self-driven and possess the initiative to work independently.
Willingness to participate in site works such as testing and commissioning
activities, including shift works on weekends and public holidays.
Available for overseas travel for factory acceptance testing and quality inspection.
Good communication, presentation, and inter-personal skills.
