Ensuring that the School’s safeguarding policies on child protection and health and safety are implemented effectively Requirements Education, training and qualifications ? Minimum bachelor’s degree, ideally in education related field. ? Chinese citizens with high level of English skills is essential. ? Must have Chinese teaching qualification, UK PGCE, or other teaching qualification equivalent to UK QTS. ? Working knowledge of the Chinese National Curriculum and UK Curriculum at an age-appropriate level. ? Evidence of relevant and challenging continuing professional development. Knowledge and experience ? Minimum two years’ teaching experience. ? Be aware and up to date in all relevant safeguarding polices and practice. ? Knowledge and experience of how to use of ICT effectively in promoting student learning. ? Recent and consistent involvement in extracurricular activities. ? Previous experience or knowledge of working with students for whom English is not their first language. ?
