Identify and assess new business opportunities in line with the company's strategic direction;
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to uncover trends, gaps, and emerging opportunities;
Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., product, strategy, operations) to develop and implement business initiatives;
Support strategic planning by providing insights and recommendations based on data and market intelligence;
Track and report on business development activities, progress, and outcomes to senior management;
Assist in preparing business proposals, presentations, and other supporting materials for potential initiatives;
Build internal alignment and coordinate cross-departmental efforts to ensure successful execution of new opportunities.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or above in Geological Engineering, Geophysics, Geosciences, Engineering or other related disciplines; candidates with over 5 years of experience in the upstream oil & gas industry and at least 3 years of Business Development experience will be given preference;
Strong communication skills, quick learning ability, and solid analytical and problem-solving capabilities;
Excellent documentation and reporting skills with attention to detail;
Proficient in both written and spoken English, with strong communication skills;
Willingness and ability to travel extensively for business purposes;
Self-motivated, result-driven, and capable of managing multiple tasks under pressure.
