Job Summary:
The Bilingual Accounting Team Leader will oversee a team of accounting professionals, ensuring efficient financial reporting, compliance, and effective team collaboration. This role requires excellent communication skills in both English & Mandarin and a strong background in accounting practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of accounting staff to ensure accurate financial reporting and efficient workflow.
- Coordinate and supervise daily accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management.
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Ensure compliance with local and international accounting regulations and company policies.
- Provide training and mentorship to accounting staff.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and audit requirements.
- Translate financial documents and ensure clear communication between multilingual team members.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CMA) is preferred.
- Proven experience in accounting roles with at least 3-5 years of leadership experience.
- Fluent in English & Mandarin (both written and spoken).
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and tax regulations locally and internationally.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, or Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
