Job Title: Technical Piping Designer – AutoCAD Plant 3D Employer: Starious Construction Pte Ltd Part of the Starious Group of Companies, a multinational group specialized in the Construction, Energy, Transport, and Logistics sectors. Location: Qingdao, China Job Summary We are seeking a Technical Piping Designer with at least 2 years of experience using AutoCAD Plant 3D and related design tools. The selected candidate will support the design and development of industrial infrastructure, with a focus on oil storage terminals and auxiliary systems. The position offers the opportunity to work in an international and multidisciplinary environment, collaborating with engineering teams in Singapore, Europe, and Canada. The ideal candidate is creative, technically solid, and adaptable to evolving project needs. Key Responsibilities · Develop and model 3D industrial piping systems using AutoCAD Plant 3D. · Design and model piping supports and structural elements, coordinating with civil and structural teams. · Model process equipment, ensuring proper orientation of flanges, nozzles, and connections. · Create and maintain P&ID (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams). · Produce isometric drawings and detailed orthographic views of terminal piping layouts. · Utilize Navisworks for coordination and clash detection as needed. · Ensure compliance with applicable national and international design codes. Requirements · Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or equivalent vocational training. · Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in piping design. · Proficiency in AutoCAD Plant 3D and Navisworks. · Working knowledge of industrial piping systems and drafting standards. · Fluency in English (working language) and Mandarin Chinese. Preferred (Nice to Have) · Experience with Autodesk Revit, Advance Steel, and Inventor is a strong plus, though not required. · Exposure to BIM-based coordination and multi-discipline model integration.
