分子育種糧食作物
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Research responsibilities:
· Develop trait introgression strategy in
compliance with Chinese regulations; work closely with different stakeholders
to collect information and fine-tune the goals.
· Coordinate with breeders to build conversion list for the parental
lines of pipeline hybrids; follow up with trait providers and ensure the
introgression can meet required quality, prioritizations, and timelines.
· Design and establish a high-quality TI platform in China; in
collaboration with winter nursery operation team, to speed up continuous
production process and optimize each key steps.
· Follow the Group guidelines and responsible for establishment of
Quality Management System for GM related activities; actively involved in
training, implementation and checking for the team.
· Collaborate with internal and external labs to build reliable and
efficient testing method.
· Serve as a key contact for GM inbred version testing and hybrid
evaluations after TI.
· Collaborate with several Research programs from Limagrain around
the world, especially in Conversion platforms and native genes discovery.
Management responsibilities:
· Responsible for GM biosafety certificate and registration documents
preparation.
· Personnel management include recruitment, hiring and training for
GM team.
· Manage budget and resources for program to attain the objectives.
· Responsible for germplasm safety in TI process.
Qualifications:
1.Hold a Ph.D. or M.Sc. in Plant Breeding, biotechnology, or a related field.
2. Possess a minimum 3 years of experience with strong background in plant
breeding and molecular technologies.
3.Demonstrate strong communication, leadership, management and teamwork
abilities.
4.Exhibit a good understanding of relevant policies and regulations in new
breeding technology.
5.Be proficient in using software for data analysis, presentation, and reporting.
6.Be willing to engage in field and laboratory work.
7.Be able to meet deadlines, work extended hours outdoors, and undertake frequent travel throughout the growing season.
8.Have strong language skill in both English and Chinese.
9. Hold a valid driver's license.
