Position Overview:
Take charge of problem-solving and systemic/advanced quality risks prevention activities; Implement MQS (Magna Quality System); initiate/participate in quality improvement projects to continuously drive quality performances improvement within MMGD (Guangdong Magna Automotive Mirrors Co., Ltd.)
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. For new programs, participate in quality related reviews in new programs together with program management team and engineering team, like DFMEA, PFMEA, L&L reviews, etc.; oversee solutions to TIRs during new program development; early involve in new project quality issues, identify quality risks, sort out quality problems and follow up improvement action plans.
2. For series program quality management, including process quality management, customer service quality management, and customer complaint handling including 0-kilometer complaints and field failure complaints.
3. Implement Magna Quality System (MQS) within MMGD, leading process quality problem solving and yield improvement.
4. Responsible for Audits, including customer audits, 3rd part audits, internal audits etc.
5. Participate in Magna Mirrors Asia Quality Manager meetings regularly, responsible for monthly/quarterly quality reports as required by Magna, including quality performance data like incidents, key quality action plan both in incidents & Failure costs, CoQ tracker, warranty reports, etc., follow up action plans.
6. Responsible for Quality KPI controls; lead quality engineer and quality inspector, supplier quality management, lab and EHS team.
7. Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
1. Bachelor degree or above, major in mechanical/engineering/automation etc.;
2. Over 5 years' working experiences in Automotive industry, and minimum 2 years at quality manager position, preferably in multinational companies, and willing to work in manufacturing environment as leader in quality, operation or continuous improvement (WCM) functions;
3. Knowledge with IATF16949, VDA6.3, FMEA, SPC, MSA etc. and skilled at problem solving with appropriate quality tools, such as Red-X, lean tools, and 6 Sigma etc.;
4. Knowledge with ISO14000, ISO18000 management system and preferably in managing EHS Team experience;
5. Good logic thinking, and demonstrate learning abilities, with high potentials to be further developed;
6. Proven leadership, high awareness of teamwork, motivation and communication skills;
7. Fluent reading/writing English skills.
