KPI (Key Performance Indicator)
Order/Billing Target and number of new Accounts per AOP at Account Manager level.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate and develop relationships with new or dormant customers in assigned OEM or industries.
- Make comprehensive sales plan for new or dormant customers in the specific territory OEM.
- Make daily sales calls to new or dormant customers in specific OEM or industry

Job related competencies
- Strong skills in Sales Fundamentals (listening, analyzing, problem solving, lead qualifying, negotiating, persevering, closing), Prospecting & New Customer Development, Value-based selling, Customer-centric Selling and Territory Planning & Management.
- Intermediate level of expertise in Integrated Architecture, Standard Drives and Networks and a basic understanding of all our products (specifically, Motion Control, Drive Systems, Services and Solutions)
- Intermediate level of expertise in Industry Knowledge, OEM Business Drivers (Understanding of needs of OEM customers), Process Business Drivers (Understanding of needs of Process Solutions customers)
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS / WORK EXPERIENCE
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering
- 3+ years relevant sales experience or equivalent training, automation industry is preferred
KEY INTERNAL STAKEHOLDERS
Regional Industry Competency Manager, Field Business Leader team, Regional Marketing Access Manager, Solutions Architect, Other Account Managers.
- Develop prospect list for sales opportunities.
- Maintain active funnel to satisfy sales targets.
- Qualify, follow through, and close the qualified sales opportunities for assigned territories or industries.
- Work with market access partners during the keep, find, close process.
- Coordinate and communicate cross-region project information with other Account Managers in other branches.
