Job Responsibilities
The appointee will be required to:
1. Coordinate and support the planning and execution of various Centre activities, including workshops, seminars, training sessions, and collaborative events. This includes pre-event preparation, logistics management, and post-event follow-up.
2. Coordinate faculty professional development programs, including organizing sessions, inviting guest speakers, and facilitating registration and attendance.
3. Manage the application process for national and provincial curriculum and teaching projects, as well as teaching/student contests, including submission of proposals, tracking progress, and reporting outcomes.
4. Support the daily operation of the Centre by performing administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, maintaining records, managing correspondence, and coordinating internal and external communications.
5. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to promote the Centre’s programs and initiatives, including developing promotional materials and updating the Centre’s website and social media channels.
6. Assist in drafting, revising, and maintaining regulations, guidelines, and rules related to teaching and learning, ensuring alignment with institutional policies and best practices.
7. Perform any other duties as assigned by the Director or his/her delegates.
Job Requirements
1. A Master’s Degree with a minimum of 2 years’ or above working experience, preferably in an educational or academic setting.
2. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities efficiently and meet deadlines.
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese.
4. Proficiency in office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace) and familiarity with digital teaching tools.
5. Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, students, and external partners.
6. Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
