We're looking for highly talented network engineer with great hands-on experience on Extreme Networks + Cisco. Idle candidate will be with primary skillset with extreme network and has knowledge and experience with Cisco catalyst 9000 series LAN & WIFI. Below are the skills required, with expertise on Extreme networks is mandatory. Mandatory Skills: Hands-on experience on : ? Cisco switching 9500, 9300 ? Cisco wifi 9800 Desired Skills: ? Extreme Networks hands-on experience Required skills : Extreme Networks : ? Design, implement, and maintain scalable and resilient network architectures leveraging Extreme Networks products such as Extreme Switching and Extreme Wireless solutions. ? Good understanding on Extreme Site engine and Cloud IQ solutions. ? Develop comprehensive network solutions that incorporate technologies like Fabric Connect for simplified network management and VXLAN for efficient virtualization. ? Lead the deployment of cutting-edge Extreme Networks hardware and configure advanced features such as stacking, VLANs, and dynamic routing protocols. ? Implement and optimize Extreme Wireless solutions, including access points, controllers, and cloud-driven management for seamless wireless connectivity. ? Utilize Extreme Analytics to monitor, analyze, and optimize network performance, addressing any bottlenecks or issues promptly. ? Implement advanced features like Application Analytics and Control to enhance network visibility and ensure optimal performance for critical applications. ? Implement and enforce security measures using Extreme Networks technologies such as Extreme Control for network access control (NAC) and role-based access. ? Utilize Extreme Security features like threat intelligence integration and behavioral analysis to protect against evolving cybersecurity threats. ? Provide advanced troubleshooting and issue resolution for complex network problems using tools like Extreme Management. ? Collaborate with Extreme Networks technical support to diagnose and resolve escalated network issues efficiently. ? Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of network configurations, changes, and procedures using Extreme Control Center. ? Generate regular reports on network performance, security, and capacity utilizing Extreme Analytics and reporting tools. ? Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including systems administrators, security specialists, and application developers, to ensure seamless integration of Extreme Networks solutions. ? Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior members of the network engineering team. ? Relevant industry certifications such as Extreme Networks Certified Professional (ECP) Switching/Wireless/Fabric is desirable. Cisco LAN, WIFI : ? Looking for Cisco LAN & Wireless expert with 2-3 years of hands-on experience to upgrade, configure, manage, and troubleshoot 9300 switches, 9500 switches and 9800 wireless controllers. ? Candidate must have performed EOL replenishment of legacy 3500, 4500 & 6500 to Cisco 9000 series catalyst switches. ? Must have hands-on experience in stacking 9300 and building 9500 into StackWise-virtual. ? Must have hands-on experience in upgrading IOS on 9300, 9500 & 9800 controllers. ? Experience in configuring access-point, wireless expansion and migration from AirOs to 9800. ? Hands-on experience with Cisco DNA – templets, upgrade, manage & troubleshoot it thorough DNA. ? Routing Protocols (OSPF & BGP) ? Switching ( AAA, Dot1X, HSRP, VRRP, VTP, VLAN, Ether Channels, LACP, Dot1Q, Inter-VLAN Routing on layer 2 and layer 3 Switches ) ? Cisco DNA Assurance ? Having experience on Aruba / SilverPeak SD-WAN will be an added advantage. ? Site to Site IPSEC VPN & GRE Tunnels ? Proven experience with troubleshooting and documenting large-scale networks ? Excellent analytical skills and strong desire to learn new technologies ? Experience participating collaboratively in a team environment. ? Self-driven to complete tasks and projects on time ? Ability to work after hours and provide on-call support ? 2 + years conducting technical projects, driving results that achieve business goals
