We are looking for a contractor engineer who can support RF system-level validation, testing and debug for numerous wireless technologies (cellular, BT, WiFi, GPS etc) in the contractor manufacturer environment and labs. The successful candidate should be with good fundamentals in one or more areas of RF/wireless and electromagnetictheory, antenna design, system integration, wireless communications and factory build execution.
Key Qualifications:
? Knowledge of EM or RF/wireless or antenna (cat1/2)
? Knowledge of integration of wireless technologies such
as cellular, GPS, WiFi and NFC into products (cat1/2)
? Well-organized and clean proficiency in documentation is preferable (cat1/2)
? Experienced in the production/manufacturer and statistical analysis is a plus. Experienced in tracking the production line issues is a plus (cat1)
? Proficient in planning and tracking design status, ensuring design timeline are adhered to (cat1)? Familiar with hands-on antenna design, matching tuning and failure analysis (cat2)
? Ability to debug RF desense issues and characterize noise sources is a plus (cat2)
Service Description:
Category1: responsibilities include the plan and execution of wireless OTA performance tests in factory. Using RF engineering know-how to investigate and debug performance issues, verifying fixes and improvements, producing status reports, test reports, data analysis reports, involvement in cross-functional engineering discussions,
looking at ways to improve testing and increase the likelihood of success in product designs.
Cateogry2: hand-on tuning on antenna performance optimization, or noise interference debugging with RF lab instrumentation. Capability for the teardown, measurement
and analysis on multiple types of wireless devices with the rich design knowledge of RF system.
The successful candidate will demonstrate passion for an RF test environment and a good understanding of multiple wireless technologies. The candidate knows how to manage different build stages and support to validate/optimize the prodRF performance.
